Blue and White Small Cup with Grapes - Jiajing Period Period: Ming Dynasty Jiajing Period 16th Century Medium: Ceramic Dimension: D. 9cm Price: $10,000 Differing from the usual heavy and thick brush strokes seen on Ming dynasty’s blue and white porcelains, grapes and leaves are vividly painted with fine exquisite lines, probably influenced from famous doucai cup from Chenghua period. Six-character mark on the base, which means ‘Made during the Jiajing period of the great Ming dynasty’.
